'Real Estate: It's time to buy again'
Fortune Magazine say, 'Forget Stocks. Don't bet on gold. After four years of plunging home prices, the most attractive asset class in America is housing.
They go on to say that there is a shortage of 'spec homes', or builder inventory. They claim that if we had normal a normal market, we would chew through the remaining homes in 2.5 months.
In the market, we see signs of a perfect storm: low prices, attractive homes, and low interest rates. So what is the hold up? There are a lot of people that would love to buy, but can't, due to their credit (and possibly their own recent foreclosure). There are those who are afraid, wondering if we have hit bottom (which indications say we have in many markets along the Wasatch Front).
Big, smart money is buying. Maybe it is time for the rest of us to get to it?
